Spacious Mid-Century vacation home in Hamilton, Montana

The Fullerton house is the ideal vacation home for a group of 12 or less. There is no better place to reside than this sprawling three-story, 3500 square foot house, which is conveniently located near downtown Hamilton, The Stock Farm and walking distance to Hamilton High and The Bitterroot Performing Arts Center. Guests agree, the home is perfect for hosting family/friends for reunions, weddings, sporting events, group retreats, etc.

Perched atop a hill, The Fullerton house has one-of-a-kind views of the Bitterroot Valley and neighbors historic Marcus Daly (founder of Hamilton) era properties.

At the Fullerton house, wildlife visits are common. The neighboring spruce trees is nesting home to the Great Horned Owl. Colorful little birds peak in the windows, while deer lounge in the yard.

The main floor features and expansive vintage kitchen, dining room, living room, updated bathroom with a shower, a master bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom with a queen bed. The third story offers two more bedrooms, the red room which sleeps 3 in charming twin “cubby” beds and the more private blue room which sleeps one in twin bed. The third floor also boasts a flexible bathroom with a shower tub and vanity room. Children love the top floor as it’s a large space they can call their own.

The freshly updated basement has a king bedroom with seating area and a TV. As well a separate kitchenette with tea kettle, coffee maker and microwave. This is a perfect place for a couple who needs more privacy or the loud snoring uncle. The unfinished portion of the daylight basement includes a rec space with a ping pong table and can store bikes, winter recreational gear and fishing gear. A queen air mattress and a single foldable bed is available for additional sleeping options.

Our goal at the Fullerton house is to make every stay a memorable one, whether you are coming for a family gathering, wedding, business function or a quiet retreat. The Fullerton House is locally owned and operated since 2018.

Our rates are based on a sliding scale. Cleaning fee is $100. Montana lodging taxes of 8% applied to total of booking.

Montana levies two lodging taxes plus a Tourism Business Improvement District Fee. All local jurisdictions must collect and pay the two lodging taxes, but only certain areas must pay the Tourism Business Improvement District Fee. The taxes include a 4 percent Lodging Facility Use Tax and a 4 percent Lodging Sales Tax.

Very nice house. Lots of room for nine people. Comfortable beds. Nice and warm even when temperatures in the teens. Lots of hot water for showers. Very clean inside. A great place to stay and very close to Hamilton- grocery stores and eateries.

A time capsule!

Layna’s house is quite possibly the best air bnb we’ve ever stayed at. The house is beautiful and fully stocked with the comforts of home. The grounds are gorgeous and private. The decor is super creative and cute! We loved our stay. It was amazing for kids
and dogs too! Also incredibly clean and well maintained.

A lovely stay
We came to Hamilton to visit family, and this property was the perfect configuration for us. The cousins enjoyed the upstairs "kid" rooms, and the adults had good space in the other rooms as well. The house has a lot of vintage charm, but with all the necessary updates to make it comfortable. Layna was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Wonderful historic home in awesome location overlooking downtown Hamilton. The house was very comfortable and perfect location for adventuring out into the area. Great gym close by and great for biking as well. The place was well stocked for cooking and nights in. We would definitely stay again!

A very sweet and comfortable rétro home! 7 of us stayed for my sons wedding. Close to town and on a quiet street with lovely mountain views. Very friendly neighbor chickens came over every day when we sat outside. The place is well equipped with everything for the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. We walked to town a couple of times but it’s a busy road at the end of the street with no sidewalk. Some might prefer to drive. There is a nice walking path right next door. We saw owls deer and lots of birds. The new basement bedroom was lovely - there was a strong smell of fresh paint which I would expect will dissipate over time. We loved the house and location and would certainly visit again! Great hosts!

Such a delightful stay in this well-maintained, uniquely styled house. The hosts communicated often and with ease. We had 12 of us in our group with plenty of space for each person. We had all the amenities we could need. And the location was central to downtown while feeling secluded and private. Would highly recommend this stay!

Exquisite house
The original 1940's features are amazing, especially the sleeping "cubbies" upstairs. Easy walk to downtown and naps (Hamilton’s justly popular burger grill). The house is going to be our first-choice place to stay from now on.

HS graduation
This house was a great experience overall. Our dog stayed with us along with our son's dog and they enjoyed the grass. It was a great location for HS graduation just a couple blocks away. I recommend this property if you want to stay in the Hamilton MT area.
